CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?
Apparently not. Even though it's a big world, and Spain's a big country, there apparently can only be one. Valladolid that is. Which means Pamplona's out. Fine, I'll explain: 'True Beauty' was accepted into the Valladolid International Film Festival, but one of the stipulations is that the film cannot be screened in Spain before them. They've been doing this for the last 54 years, so I guess they've got the market cornered. So, sadly, I had to pull out of Pamplona. They were kind about it, but it sucks. Then again, another festival! And this one's got its own magazine, the Seminci. That's kinda neat...

I saw this short MASTERPIECE in Valladolid, at the SEMINCI Festival last Saturday, October, 24th. It's a funny, thrilling, touching, perfect piece of CINEMA. Delightful piece of art. Mr. Wilder couldn't have done it better.
