It's a true beauty (get it?): the best independent short at this year's Cine Gear Expo Filmseries is 'True Beauty This Night'. It was a good party last friday night (free beer! first prize! more beer!), but I didn't get to give a speech, much to the chagrin of my wife who loves to hear me mumble, stutter and finally, embarrassed by the attention, lurch off stage. Still awesome though...
